Does The M1 Abrams Have A Shot Trap?

In one of my videos about busting common tank myths, I addressed the notion that modern tanks like the M1 Abrams and Leopard 2 have shot traps because they incorporate heavily angled armor which could theoretically ricochet shots into vulnerable areas. For the Abrams, I pretty much just said that APFSDS would most likely shatter on the upper front plate and left it at that. Since some spirited debate has arisen since then, I figured it would be a good idea to publish a more nuanced take. Expect some regular War Thunder content on Saturday.
