GREEK MYTHOLOGY OF OPHIUCHUS | 13th Zodiac Sign!? | Hannah's Elsewhere

In today's video I'm discussing the supposedly 13th Zodiac Sign, Ophiuchus. And whilst Ophiuchus is NOT a sign, but a CONSTELLATION, it still has a pretty interesting Greek story behind its placement in the sky.

The signs of the Zodiac have been used as a fixed coordinate system, while the constellations themselves have changed over the years.

The constellations are like the constant back drop that the signs are moving through. Signs are seasonal.

The signs more or less aligned with their corresponding constellations when the modern Western Zodiac was defined about 2,000 years ago.
