4 Essential Ingredients Of Any Patch
1⃣ On/Off Switch
2⃣ Sound
3⃣ Volume Control
4⃣ Audio FX

On/Off Switch
- Best created using a MIDI filter rather than by enabling and disabling the VST itself for a smooth cut off
*** Make sure to label everything easily find parameters later

Audio Effects
- In Gig Performer 3 you need to open and close individual plug-ins to tweak sounds (Before they are mapped on the front end). For this reason, I love to have my audio effects all in one place. SerumFX lets me do that easily, and they sound insanely good. Link for purchase below as well.

Front End Design
Larger Panels are preferable to smaller ones just for space to work with, I like to use a 3 U panel.

Front end controls should mirror the essential ingredients, allowing you to control the necessary parameters without navigating to the back end.

***When dragging in control elements, pressing a number on the keypad will automatically bring in that amount of any item. Pressing the number twice will toggle between vertical and horizontal arrangements of the item.

Linking Widgets To Parameters
- On-screen widgets can be linked to controls in your VSTs and audio effects. You can quickly map this by choosing a device and clicking the learn parameter. This is the fastest most efficient way to work.
