Bypassing a JD LX277 Ignition and Blade Control Switch (for emergency use only)

My Tractor Safety Switch failed on my JD 277 tractor while I was a long way from the house. As a result, I could not get back to the house without a ton of work. I've ordered a new switch but needed get my tractor back up to the garage in the mean time. I made this video to show how you can temporarly bypass the switch, get the tractor to turn on and even make the blades engage and run. WARNING: This should never be a final solution. If you do anything in this video, you do it at your own risk. I only recommend this as a temporary emergency solution where you have no other way of resolving a failure of the saftey switch and it's functionality. You should use the tractor only to resolve an emergency prior to your new switch being installed.
