Translation notes:
- The hanfu girls and the sleazy guys both address Muyun (and Xiaoqian) as 小姐姐 (xiao3 jie3jie), a term which has no direct English equivalent. It denotes someone who's young-ish (perhaps older than the speaker?? I am not up to date on contemporary Chinese slang) and importantly, pretty. I have chosen to render these as 'girl' and 'ladies' respectively as I feel those capture the context in which the term is used.
- The word 'supper' does NOT mean 'dinner' in the posh British sense, but rather 'late-night meal'.
- The instant noodle flavours which Xiaoqian lists in the on-screen caption are: spicy beef, preserved vegetable, chicken and mushroom, and prawn and fishcake.
