Monty Python fans have waited a long time for this one.

In this review, we take a look at the new Blu-ray Steelbook release of Monty Python's Fliegender Zirkus, featuring two rare television specials originally produced for German television in 1972.

Restored from the original source materials under the supervision of Terry Gilliam, this release finally brings these unique Python productions to high definition, complete with a selection of previously unavailable bonus features.

Included are classic sketches and songs such as The Lumberjack Song, Silly Olympics, Terry Gilliam's iconic animations, the rarely seen Euroshow appearance featuring the Fish-Slapping Dance, the long-unavailable Montreux Special, outtakes and more.

While the restoration work is excellent, does this release work better as a standalone Steelbook or would it have been better included as part of a complete Flying Circus collection?
