A daring break-in revealed some of the FBI’s most DISGRACEFUL crimes

Investigative journalist Betty Medsger tells the story of FBI crimes against students, academics, anti-war and civil-rights activists in the United States, made public thanks to documents stolen by activists in a break-in in 1971.
The revelations made possible by the documents include informations about the FBI’s illegal Counterintelligence Program (COINTELPRO).

The journalist’s testimony at the Belmarsh Tribunal highlights the importance of whistleblowers and of a free press, in support of an end to Julian Assange’s prosecution.
