How to Make a 4D ROSE Using a Dual Form/Toppit - Holographic Chrome

Hey guys,

In this video, I am going to show you how to do a 4D flower. Now I know what some of you are thinking, Kirsty has gone mad, there are only three dimensions. I know this, but this kind of nail art has been called 4D for years because it's an extreme version of 3D Nail Art. When it's so big, we just call it 4D.

So I have decided to do this a little different to usual. Firstly we are going to make a centrepiece and to make it extra special we are going Holographic Chrome Pigment POwder, This is the best one you will find on the market. it's so fine, you do not need to put a coat of colour on anything, you could do it on a clear tip and it would still be amazing.

So the other part of this tutorial is about using dual forms as a way to sculpt on. The plastic is very special in this product, acrylic just pops off it and it's also curved which will help in two ways, firstly the petals will have a curve already, which will help me to build the rose, and also the centrepiece will have a curved bottom, which will help me to adhere it to my nail.

Because I'm doing this for my non-dominant hand, I would never be able to do this on the nail itself, so it's great to have a way to do it off the nail but still have the curve for the application.
