How To Solder Capacitors On A Motherboard

there are capacitors that are badly damaged, though it's not likely to be a dead short circuit, the best practice would be to desolder and replace it. But as long as it's connected to the traces on the motherboard, it would just be fine. If not, and the traces aren't damaged, you could just solder it.
