Pure Danger (1996) Car Chase 4

PURE DANGER (1996), starring C. Thomas Howell.

Car chase #4:
Often considered the best PM Entertainment car chase ever. Howell is in a 1966 Cadillac DeVille Convertible. One of the two rival gangs is in a Chevrolet Celebrity station wagon, the other gang (holding Howell's wife captive) is in a GMC Vandura (which often changes to a Chevrolet Chevy Van), and the driver that the two gangs are chasing (played by Carrot Top) is in a GMC MagnaVan morgue truck. During the chase, a police car gets involved, but the Celebrity forces it to crash and explode. After getting on the highway, the morgue truck makes a huge jump (and turns into a Chevrolet Hi-Cube Van) over a divider, lands back on the road... before a massive truck crashes into it and blows it up, turning over. Then, the Celebrity and the Vandura crash into the burning wreck and flip over in one of PM's most spectacular stunts of all time. Howell crashes the Cadillac in the same wreck... but doesn't take off. Howell then grabs his wife from the demolished Vandura and they both drive away.
