Launch & Landing of SpaceX Falcon 9 with SXM-7 Satellite

SpaceX have successfully launched their 102nd Falcon 9 rocket carrying the SXM-7 satellite into orbit for Sirius XM satellite radio.

Liftoff took place at 12:30 Local time, 17:30 UTC from SLC-40 at Cape Canaveral in Florida.

The Falcon 9 first stage on this mission was booster 1051.7 flying on it’s 7th mission, making this the first commercial mission to use a reflow booster. The booster previously launched the Demo-1 Dragon mission in 2019, Radarsat in 2019 and then 4 Starlink missions in 2020.

The booster successfully landed on Just Read the Instructions again today after landing.

SXM-7 will replace SXM-3 to provide satellite radio for Sirius XM in America.
