What a brilliant day full of surprises, we came to North kerala for Theyyam and we were not sure on where we will get to see it.

We were told that Kannur is the place we need to go…

Started our journey from Wayanad then all the way to Kannur, finally at 7 pm in the evening we came to know that we can see Theyyam at 28 km distance from kannur town.

We had great time exploring North Kerala, Malabar region food. Following are the details of the places visited by us as part of this journey.

Paris Restaurant: Thalassery is very famous for biryani, if you Google the name Thalassery you will get to see lot about biryani of this place. This is one of the famous restaurants of this area, about 70 year old.

Juicy Cafe: This was a random shop for falooda, this was mix of few flavours of ice cream quite surprised when i noticed that there was no falooda in this mixture, but yes it was tasty. At a walking distance from Paris restaurant.

Royal Omars: This is about 1 km from Kannur railway station, we got Rs 2400 per day as tariff on double occupancy. Over all our stay was quite comfortable at this hotel, hospitality of the staff was nice.

MRA Bakery Restaurant & Catering: This restaurant was about 500 meters from our hotel, we went there for dinner and enjoyed our meal.

This is about 200 meters from kannur railway station, Enjoyed the food here,
