The new stimulus bill that we all thought was happening so quickly is now being stalled by politicians. The left and the right are blaming each other, and meanwhile the unemployment insurance expired and people are wondering if they are getting another stimulus check.

The next stimulus check will likely be $1,200, but when will it pass? Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said that the stimulus check can be distributed as soon as a week after the stimulus bill is passed. But that requires the stimulus bill, whether it's the HEALS Act or something else, to ACTUALLY pass.

We need our political leaders to come together and pass a stimulus bill sooner rather than later. With each day that passes and people do not have their stimulus checks or unemployment insurance extension, the likelihood of a severe economic collapse, worse than we already are experiencing, gets exponentially greater.

The unemployment insurance extension appears to be the most controversial stimulus bill proposal. Some people argue that we need $600 unemployment insurance extension, whereas others want a $200 unemployment insurance extension. But regardless, the pandemic unemployment insurance expired on July 31, and no stimulus bill is currently passed with a replacement.
