Sennheiser buds are available in black and white, airpods are only white
PHYSICAL
Case size - Airpods are significantly smaller
Aesthetic - Sennheiser case looks cooler, but Apple case has a metal hinge
Charging - Apple AirPods Pro have wireless charging on the case, Sennheisers do not
Earbud shape - I think the Sennheiser buds are more comfortable, but AirPods have pressure equalizer vent

ANC comparison - volume test of audible traffic sounds (Sennheiser buds crush more ambient noise, but the airpods have the pressure vent which makes it sound like there is less white noise)
Airpods work in single mode, but Sennheiser buds cannot work with only left
SOUND QUALITY
Airpods have an emphasis on 1100 Hz, highlight vocals, but have weak and slightly hollow bass, and acoustic guitars sound good. Definitely lacking bass
Sennheiser sound is much warmer, more accurate,fuller, with a much nicer balance
There is really no contest here. The Sennheiser buds sound better with every genre I tried listening to (and I listened to quite a few)

COMPATIBILITY
Controls are customizable for anyone using Sennheiser, but only iPhone users using airpods
CONCLUSION
If you can afford it and want the absolute best sound quality, the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2 are your best bet by far
