we went to amangiri for my bucket list birthday!!!

and on a more serious note, my fiancé and i had a conversation while we were here about what it means for us to both be here. growing up with immigrant parents (my mom and both his parents), neither one of us thought we’d ever be able to stay at a place like this.

when we were there, not all of the guests were even utilizing the pool or the spa amenities, but for us, we were taking in this moment for all its worth.

some of you who have known me for a while may know that i’ve been working since i was 19. i’ve always had at least 2-3 jobs at a time and i worked as a server, barista, bartender and all of the customer service jobs you can think of. my friends used to joke that i’ve literally worked everywhere which is prettty accurate.

so to be able to get to a place where staying at a dream bucket list location like amangiri is actually possible, that’s a huge accomplishment for me and i don’t take it for granted at all.

i feel so blessed and grateful and thankful for everything that has led me here and this stay was truly special to us 🤍 i hope you haven’t minded all the mass posting (which has come to an end) but this is a memory i wanted to savor ☁️
