The path to Mercury - part 1

Mercury is one of the least explored planets in the solar system. In fact as of the publishing of this video Mercury is the only rocky planet without an orbiter. In part 1 we take a look at why Mercury is difficult to orbit and some of the challenges a spacecraft needs to overcome.

This video is different than all my other videos so far. This one is a little lighthearted and touches on related topics often.
