I begin using a foam "brush" and letting glue dry to clear and tacky before pressing papers together. The trick is to use as little glue as possible but enough so it's permanently adhered. (Pressing after the glue dries to tacky is less permanent than adhering when the glue is wet, but using such a think layer dries so fast.... but still seems to waste glue on the sponge...) THEN I GET AN AHA...and it's SIMPLY PERFECT!
