Approaching the Unknown | David Gardenier | TEDxAmstelveen

Whether it's climate change, pandemics or relationships - we deal with the unknown on a daily basis. So then what can we learn from astronomers about approaching the unknown? David Gardenier is an astronomer at the University of Amsterdam and the Netherlands Institute for Radio Astronomy. His research revolves around mysterious flashes of light called Fast Radio Bursts (FRBs). He works with a team of astronomers from around the world to find the origin of these FRBs through powerful simulations and state-of-the-art telescopes located in Westerbork, the Netherlands.
