My experience with propagating and cutting my Sansevieria also known as snake plant.

The plant was originally placed in our home office which is warmer and has lower air humidity then any other room in our home and afterwards I moved it to another location.

Causes of Mottling:
•Low air humidity
•Overwatering damages the plants roots
•Fungal or bacterial infection in the leaf blade

Homemade Fungicide recipe:
•4 level teaspoon of baking soda
•1 teaspoon mild soap (I used Dawn)
•1 gallon of water (I used 1/2 gallon)

Mix all ingredients thoroughly and keep agitated. Then spray plants from top to bottom of affected area. Can also be sprayed on any leafs that show no signs of fungus yet.
