What’s happening in this An American Werewolf in London movie clip?
David (David Naughton who also starred in Makin 'It and Midnight Madness) and Jack (Griffin Dunne who also starred in After Hours and This Is Us) are walking the moor, when they hear a strange noise. Not figuring out what kind of beast it could be and realizing that it is a full moon night, they remember the advice of locals and decide to retrace their steps to find the road. When they realize they are lost, the noise is still following them. Suddenly, Jack falls and he is attacked by a wolf, which kills him. David runs away, but changes his mind and retraces his steps to try to save his friend. He realizes it is too late and as the werewolf attacks him, the locals save him by shooting the wolf. When David turns his head, he sees a man lying dejected beside him.

David (David Naughton who also starred in Makin 'It and Midnight Madness) and Jack (Griffin Dunne who also starred in After Hoursnand This Is Us), two American students, visit Great Britain. Despite warnings from locals, one night they decide to take a walk in the moor, and they are attacked by a werewolf. Jack is killed and David is injured. The werewolf is shot and eventually reverts to human form, but when David recounts what he saw, no one takes him seriously. He is greeted by Alex, a young nurse (Jenny Agutter who also starred in Crystal Age and The Hike), while he is recovering. During the full moon, he transforms into a werewolf and sets out on a hunt across London ...
