Iron rod removed from hoof of cow,... painless and bloodless removal of foreign body from hoof

Owner saw the inserted rod in hoof and he immediately brought cow in veterinary Polyclinic
On clinical examination Dr saw Iron curved rod is inserted in fatty tissue or bulb porstion of right hindleg hoof
After proper restraining of cow in travis, hoof is cleaned, then iron rod is smoothly removed with pliar,
Wound cleaned with Tincture iodine and flyrepallent spray applied locally,
Antibiotics and anti-inflammatory injection given
Cow recovered immediately as there was no Nervine and bone involvement.
