RHONDA SMITH - You Know, You Know - Live in Basel - 2016

Bass player Rhonda Smith is born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and attended the McGill University in Montreal studying jazz performance. Prince: "Her name is Rhonda and she is funky." In addition to the near decade she spent along side Prince, Rhonda has performed with the likes of Chaka Khan, Beyonce, Erykah Badu, Patti Austin, Lee Ritenour, Patti Labelle, Little Richard, Najee, Candy Dulfer and many more. In this video she performes with guitar legend Jeff Beck in Basel, Switzerland at the BALOISE SESSION 2016. "You Know, You Know" is written by John McLaughlin and was first released in 1971 on the album "The Inner Flame" by the Mahavishnu Orchestra.
