Syria Refugee Crisis: Life After Syria - Full Length Documentary Film
Life After Syria is a new documentary in which Syrian refugees recount their stories of survival and explores the role that other nations must now bear in alleviating their suffering.
More than 5 million registered refugees have fled Syria, while another 6.3 million Syrians remain displaced within the country, around 4.7 million of whom are in are in hard-to-reach or besieged areas.
Presently 29 nations in the Middle East, Europe and elsewhere are sheltering Syrian refugees.
Some smaller countries in the region, such as Kuwait, have made a big difference to relief efforts in affected areas. For example, the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, has helped raise more than $20bn for international humanitarian agencies to support Syrian refugees.
