This is an introductory series into Synfig. The version used in this video is 1.3.16. Synfig is an opensource 2D animation software with many powerful tools and features. It's still being developed but with each update, it gets better and better.

You can attach objects to a path and animate it following along that path. In this tutorial I show you how this can be done
