Hi I'm James Whitham and am down at Reactive Parts.
We're talking about LighTech products. The company these days work really closely with the World Superbike and MotoGP teams and in fact are now recognised as market leader in the supply of performance motorcycle accessories, like these.
These are lever sets that are available individually or as a complete set. Materials aluminium and lightweight cast magnesium. They are available as a standard lever, that's a J blade, or these are the alien blade and these the difference is the rubber insert. Looks a bit insignificant but I can tell you when you go racing or track days you
want that extra little bit of feel maybe you're braking or clutch with one finger or two fingers and that just gives you an extra little bit of grip and feel. The rubber parts are available in different colours too.
Now that's the brake lever that's more standard it's available for both Brembo and standard master cylinders but it's only
adjustable from the right hand side.
That's what you're used to in actual fact, but that you've got to adjust it when the bike is stopped and you're off the bike so in your garage, on your driveway, in the paddock.
This beauty is a remotely adjustable front brake lever. Fits on like so, in the normal place the cable runs around the front of the fairing and then that connects to that, that fits on your left hand handlebar so on the fly when you're going down the straights you've got a little bit of time so use your left hand just to adjust the brake to where you want it.
This is a lovely bit of kit, I've used them is fantastic and this is why
about three-quarters of the BSB paddock this is the lever of choice.
