Prolong mat- rope hot pad

In this tutorial I demonstrate how to tie a Prolong mat. It looks similar to the Ocean plait mat, but it is a longer mat.

I used 24 feet (7.3 meters) of rope to make a 3 pass version of the mat. The mat was made using 1/4 inch (6 mm) hemp rope.
