SN PCD-4Lsx (Compact Flash as SSD, LapLink cable transfer, installing Windows NT 3.1)

Here's a video that I had wanted to make for some time. The Siemens Nixdorf PCD-4Lsx from 1992 is an interesting PC with its very low casing, complete lack of internal fans (even in the power supply), and lack of CD-drive bays.

I have managed to acquire four of these PCs, although there are only two working units in this video. The other units keep getting new hardware problems related to age. One unit even had a power supply failure (complete with smoke), a motherboard failure, and a harddisk failure combined.

In the video I copy a Windows NT 3.1 installation from a modern PC onto a Compact Flash card and install the card into the first PCD-4Lsx. This makes the unit completely silent, apart from the floppydrive.

Secondly, I run the NT 3.1 install on the PC, and test some programs and the performance.

Thirdly, I copy the installation files via LapLink cable and DOS programs InterLink and InterServer to a second PCD-4Lsx unit.
