Assalam-o-Alaikum (Peace be upon you),
Today, I stand before you to speak about the Seerat un Nabi (the life of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH), whose life and teachings continue to illuminate the hearts and minds of billions around the world. His life was a perfect model of compassion, justice, and guidance for humanity, making him not only the last messenger of Allah but also a mercy for the entire universe.
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was born in Makkah in the year 570 CE. From a young age, he was known for his honesty, integrity, and kindness. He was called Al-Amin (the trustworthy) because of his noble character. Even before receiving the divine revelation, people trusted him with their wealth and secrets. His honesty and moral character were his first form of dawah (invitation to Islam).
At the age of 40, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) received the first revelation from Allah through Angel Jibreel (Gabriel) in the cave of Hira. This marked the beginning of his prophethood, which lasted for 23 years. Throughout his life, he faced immense challenges, including persecution, threats, and ridicule, yet he remained steadfast in delivering the message of Islam.
One of the greatest aspects of the Prophet’s character was his humility. He was not just a religious leader but also a family man, a statesman, a teacher, and a friend. His dealings with people, whether rich or poor, were always kind and fair. He taught us the values of patience, forgiveness, and love. He said, "The best of you are those who are the best to their wives."
The Prophet’s teachings were not just about worshiping Allah, but also about how to live a just and righteous life
