Yeonmi Park escaped from North Korea in 2007. Two years later, she arrived in South Korea with her family after traveling through the Gobi Desert in Mongolia. Yeonmi has experienced the changes happening in North Korea first hand. She's part of a new generation of North Korean millennials that are distinctly different from the generation that came before them.
