Stradella: The artists of the accordion | Italia Slow Tour

[ ENG ] Stradella is an historic city in the Oltrepò Pavese, the stricta via of the Romans. Here you can pursue a musical path starting from the famous Dallapé factory of accordions. Mariano Dallapé built his first modern accordion here in 1876: he invented diatonics, that is to say an accordion that played both when the bellows were opened and closed. By the way, let's meet an artisan/artist who still makes his accordions in his own workshop.

[ ITA ] Stradella è una città storica dell'Oltrepò Pavese che risale ai Romani dove si può seguire un percorso musicale partendo dalla famosa fabbrica di fisarmoniche Dallapé. Mariano Dallapé costruì qui la sua prima fisarmonica moderna nel 1876: inventò la diatonica, vale a dire una fisarmonica che suonava sia quando il soffietto veniva aperto che chiuso.
