The Other Ones [1080p HD Remaster] - August 3, 2002 - Alpine Valley - East Troy, WI

This is our remaster of the show in the title
In addition to video editing, we replaced the existing soundtrack with the audio patch listed below, per the usual.
Video pixel AR corrected, color corrected, minor spatial and temporal noise reduction, scaled to 1440x1080 (progressive) at 59.94 fps. Deinterladced to look like it should look on a modern display in a lossless process using the motion vectors of each field to create a geniune progressive "60 fps" -- most all NTSC videos we publish are at this framerate as it is MUCH smoother and old CRT tvs would give the illusion of 60fps, so this actually looks more true to what it *should* look like than it does at 29.97.
(This is "1080p60")

*Note: I will be re-encoding this one at a later date off of the ProRes file to get a better overall picture, I wasn't able to use my usual software when i did this one and it had more ill-effect than anticipated (not horrible, but not as good as it should be!)

Flaws:
1) Video starts with about 2 minutes left of Feels Like a Stranger - He's Gone~ Cryptical~
The Other One~ Feel Like a Stranger not available.
2) The second vhs tape was not quite as crisp as the first so disk 3 (Dark Star on) has a little bit of waver. Still an excellent copy.
In between sets - there is very short clip of a weather map of the Chicago area. It is my opinion that this show (and 8/4/03) were broadcast on cable to an unknown Chicago channel and we are lucky that an unknown deadhead was channel surfing, stumbled onto this broadcast and managed to hook his DV camera to record it. This might explain why the first part of the show is missing.
