He is a Lighting Designer, Programmer and Director from Germany who worked on some of the biggest shows including top acts like Adele, Phil Collins or The Rolling Stones for which he has worked for the prestigious UK studio WBD (Woodroffe Bassett Design). For EventElevator Roland talks about his way into the industry and how to survive in the top league.

Recently Roland Greil has been responsible for the co lighting design of the Rammstein stadium tour together with longtime collaborator Patrick Woodroffe. The LD explains some details about the creation process of this production. The stage designs for Phil Collins or Adele stand in contrast to this stage-like, theatrical world. For each of these acts, Roland and the WBD team had to find the right design direction.
