Urban Indian Youth Have a Largely Positive Assessment of the Country’s Foreign Policy
The ORF Foreign Policy Survey 2021 evaluates the views of India’s urban youth on the government’s foreign policy, their assessment of emerging foreign policy challenges, as well as India’s ties with regional and global powers. The survey also considers India’s public opinion on multilateralism and globalisation, and examines how these perceptions may be shaped by the COVID-19 crisis, which continues to unfold as we publish this report.
ORF aims to institutionalise the Foreign Policy Survey as an annual endeavour to track how Indians comprehend the country’s foreign policy goals and its approach to its growing role in world affairs. This inaugural edition of the survey will be released by the Foreign Secretary of India, Harsh Vardhan Shringla. This will be followed by a moderated panel discussion to engage with the key findings of the survey report.
