En la Costa del Pacifico Méxicano, se encuentra la Costa Chica, tierra de gran riqueza natural y cultural. Las comunidades afro mexicanas que la habitan se encuentra sin embargo invisibles en los medios y en la cultura del país. Este documental quiere mostrar su existencia a travez de sus mitos, bailes y música.

La Costa Chica, sur la côte pacifique du Mexique, est une terre d’une grande richesse naturelle et culturelle. Les communautés noires qui y vivent se trouvent dans l’oubli et ne sont pas reconnues dans leur propre pays. A travers les danses, la musique, leurs croyances et leurs traditions, ce documentaire cherche à leur donner cette visibilité revendiquée.

In the Mexican Pacific ocean is found the Costa Chica, a land of great cultural and natural diversity. The afro-Mexican communities that live here seem to be however invisible to the rest of the country. It is by showing their danses, music and myths that this documentary wants to acknowledge their existence to make them part of the cultural diversity of Mexico.
