Bangladesh at 50 | Oxford Political Review Panel

As Bangladesh celebrates 50 years of independence this week, the Oxford Political Review hosts a panel event to discuss the nation's achievements and challenges during that time.

The panel will feature three distinguished guest speakers: Gowher Rizvi, International Affairs Adviser to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh; Professor Habibiul Haque Khondker, Professor of Social Sciences at Zayed University in Abu Dhabi; and Asif Bin Ali, Erasmus Mundus Fellow at Aarhus University in Denmark and Swansea University in the UK.

The panel will be live streamed on the Oxford Political Review's YouTube and Facebook pages on Sunday 28 March at 15:00 UK and 20:00 Bangladesh. Chairing the panel will be Simple Rajrah, OPR's Culture and Ideas Editor.
