The Last Days Of Primrose Hill Estate Kings Norton Birmingham

A final drive around the crumbling council estate I grew up on as a kid, a lot of the estate had already gone as can be seen @ 5:35.
I took this video a few months before it was all pulled down just to prove that it did once exist.

Construction started on the Primrose Hill estate in 1966, about nine years after the Pool Farm Estate was completed in 1957.
The final stage of the ''Three Estates'' development was the Hawksley estate, and this was finished around 1975.
Sadly Primrose Hill fell to bits in the late 80's and has now been completely demolished (2019)

The video ends abruptly because a mother of a one of the few remaining families living there waved me down, as one of her children wanted to take a photo of the car I was driving (a 1971 Reliant Regal)
