**This is a broad range of days to have sex. In fact, most men experience performance anxiety when they have to have sex this many days in a month. So, there is a better way to calculate your ovulation period and when to have sex based on those days.
I want to answer a few questions about how to determine when you are ovulating and when to have sex in the ovulatory period.
- How do I know when I am ovulating?
- How to determine when I am ovulating?
- How do I know when my ovulating occurs?
- Am I Ovulating?
- When do you ovulate each month?
- When does ovulation occur each month?
Determining when you are ovulating is crucial if you are trying to get pregnant. Having intercourse during your ovulatory period is the best way to maximize your chances of getting pregnant.
We are going to discuss the clinical and the urine ovulating predictor tests in order to help you understand when you are ovulating. Most importantly we are going to discuss how you can calculate when you may be ovulating according to your monthly period/cycle.
Anyone can purchase an ovulation predictor kit. How does the kit work? What you will do with an ovulation predictor kit is sample your first urine when you wake up in the morning and based on the hormones in your urine the test will begin to change colors, very similar to a urine pregnancy test.

Around the time of ovulation, it will turn a specific color indicating that you are in fact ovulating or you are near your ovulatory time period. This issue with these tests is that they are expensive and many women do not want to have that expense.
Now, let's discuss the clinical approach to understand if you are ovulating.
1. Determine the length of your cycle
We have created the "Getting Pregnant Guide" to help you determine your ovulatory period ►►► ( https://pearently.com/three-step-guide-optin/ ). By using this guide you will be able to determine your time of ovulation with greater ease.
For example sake, we are going to use a 28-day cycle to explain the ovulatory cycle to help you understand the process of ovulation...
You must begin by counting from day one. That is the day you see any amount of blood. That means it could be a heavy flow or just a few spots. That determines day one of your period.
Now, you want to count forward X amount of days. for our example, a woman would have begun her bleeding and then 28 days later she would begin her bleeding once again. That means she is on a 28-day cycle. (Note: make sure you count your cycle for 2 - 3 months to confirm the consistency of your period cycle).
Ok, now how do we determine when you will be ovulating?
Many people determine ovulation by counting forward from the day you begin your period. However, we believe that it is far more effective to count backward. So, if you have a 28-day cycle you need to subtract 14 days.
When you think about a bell-shaped curve you are going to ovulate on the front side of the curve or the back side.
Now you need to subtract 7 days from the 14 days you already subtracted and add 7 days to the 14 days subtracted from 28. That means that your ovulatory period is from day 7 - 21! Now, what to do with that time frame of ovulation.
You need to say to your husband or partner, "We are going to get together and have intercourse on an every 48-hour schedule from day 7 to day 21". If you do this you will markedly increase your ability to get pregnant!
Disclaimer: Medical literature says that you need to allow 3 - 6 months to get pregnant. However, we have seen women who have followed this schedule get pregnant within the first month.
If you are unable to get pregnant in the first month or 3- 6 months do not be alarmed. You are not considered infertile until you have been trying to get pregnant for 12 months.
