Handmade Marking Knife - The Hard Way

(Item links below) - In this video, I create a Japanese style marking knife out of an old, high speed steel saw blade. And let me tell you, it was an absolute pain to work with. Luckily it will stay sharp for a very long time. It doesn't count as a restoration I guess. Maybe recycling? Upcycling? Due to it's hardness, it did a number on my whetstone, so check out the diamond plates below as well for a cheaper option that works just as well.
