The Posh and Popular Fashion and Beauty Summit is a daylong interactive event for women looking to cultivate the career they’ve always aspired to obtain in the fashion and beauty industry and walk away with the tools they’ll need to successfully manifest their destiny!


This event was the first event of its kind in Detroit, MI, providing lovers of the fashion and beauty industries the tools they'll need to grow their own brands, learn from some of the best names in the industry, and connect with other ladies that share the same love for such an amazing and artistic industry!

Over 100 fashionistas experienced live beauty demonstrations, one on ones with some of your favorite make-up artists, amazing blogger panel discussions, beauty branding 101, and more. The Posh + Popular brand’s objective ensured attendees were provided the tricks of the trade on how to achieve becoming a savvy business owner and digital influencer in the world of fashion and beauty.

The Posh + Popular Fashion and Beauty Summit took place Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 8:00am – 5:00pm. This event had something for everyone. Whether you’ve always wanted your own blog, or just wanted to learn how to apply make-up, connect with like-minded women, or even learn how to create your own fashion or beauty empire, attendees left this event enriched and empowered!

Founded by creator Kimberly M. Dobine, Posh + Popular is a digital platform where you can find a great mix of personal style, beauty, and lifestyle tips for any budget. It is where the classy and edgy collide. Recognized as a go-to-guide for the professional girl on the go, an addition to the Posh + Poplar brand is a YouTube series entitled, Pink Kisses, where several life topics are discussed and highlighting female entrepreneurs is essential.
