It's rewind time, sort of. Join me as we take a look back at the drama that pushed some change on YouTube in 2019, be it a social or literal way, and explore some of the biggest events this year. From Pokimane's over-use of the copyright system, the Carlos Maza thing, and the major fallout over the Slazo incident. It's been an eventful year, and I'm glad it's over.

"Drama, what would we be without it? 2019 has been a year full of entertainment, c*ntr*v*rsy, frustration and tr*g*dy, and here on YouTube, we have witnessed some of the most eventful drama there has ever been. From the ab*se of YouTube’s copyright system to false all*g*ti*ns that almost ruined the lives and careers of the people acc*sed, as well as issues that introduced new problems for creators to deal with -- to say the least, it’s been a busy year. These are just the three major themes we’ve seen with some of the biggest drama, however, we are not limited to those as there have also been events that caused major c*ntr*versy in their own isolated ways. As well as this, there have been certain people who have been at the forefront of the drama, and really made a mess of 2019 for their own online image. We are going to be looking at all of this.

Now, YouTube released its Rewind in the first week of December, and it definitely failed to impress, not only because of how safe it was but because it didn’t really reflect the year we’ve had on YouTube. So I think we deserve to indulge ourselves on some of the biggest events that happened within the YouTube community this year and take a look at how they impacted the thinking and the development of those who love to be involved with the happenings of the YouTube world. Join me on this journey as we look back through the biggest events of the year, and explore how people responded to these situations, and highlight some of the biggest issues facing our platform.
