You're probably wondering how different areas are centrally located, commute times, school districts, and, more importantly, probably the lifestyle in different areas. Today I'm going to give you my top three neighborhoods to live in Las Vegas. Let's get right into it and start with the first one, Summerlin!

I call Summerlin home. It's located on the West side of the Valley and basically wraps right around the two 15 beltway. So, commute times are great! You're looking at 15 to 20 minutes to the strip, maybe 2025 to the airport, depending on traffic, but all in all, great location. Commute times are bad. It's not centrally located, it's on the West side, but you can pretty much get anywhere in 25 to 30 minutes. Now let's talk about lifestyle in Summerlin.

Summerlin is great for shopping, great restaurants, kind of a trendy little hip spot. There is the red rock casino, so you can get all your gambling needs done here. They have a bowling alley and a movie theater there as well for the kids. I think it's one of the best places to live in Vegas. Now that you've heard a little bit about summer and less talk about housing costs in Summerland, you're definitely going to pay more in Summerlin than other areas of Las Vegas.
