Weight loss salad | chia seeds and veggies salad | veggies raita | weight loss recipies

Ingredients:

1 carrot

1 cucumber

1 beetroot

2 cloves garlic (chopped)

1 green chili (chopped)

A few curry leaves

1 tbsp chia seeds

1 cup yogurt (dahi)

½ tsp black salt

½ tsp cumin powder (jeera powder)

1 tsp oil

A pinch of hing (asafoetida)

½ tsp mustard seeds

Optional: Roasted peanuts for crunch

Instructions:

1. Prepare the veggies: Peel the carrot, beetroot, and cucumber. Grate them finely.

2. Soak chia seeds: Let the chia seeds soak in water for 15 minutes.

3. Mix the base: Add yogurt to the soaked chia seeds and mix in the grated vegetables. Season with black salt and cumin powder.

4. Prepare the tadka: Heat oil in a pan, then add hing, mustard seeds, chopped garlic, green chili, and curry leaves. Sauté until aromatic.

5. Combine & serve: Pour the tadka over the yogurt mixture. Optionally, add roasted peanuts for extra crunch. Mix well and serve chilled!
