Man killed in 'targeted' US shooting
A man has been killed in what police believe is a “targeted” shooting in central Florida.
The victim was hit multiple times in the common area of a shopping centre in Ocala.
A woman is being treated for a gunshot wound to the leg and is expected to recover from her injuries.
Police are searching for the suspect, who left a firearm at the scene.
“We’re in the process of doing secondary sweeps of the mall to make sure everybody that might’ve done some sheltering in place are evacuated safely, and this investigation continues right now,” Ocala Police Chief Mike Balken said.
