10-Year-Old Calls Out Racists With POWERFUL Speech

Gavin Alston, a 10-year-old African American, delivered a powerful, heartbreaking speech about racism at the Redmond, Oregon city council meeting. He told people that he’s been called the “n-word” and “monkey” by his classmates, and he desires to be treated with respect. This speech is following a disgusting, racist incident where a dead raccoon was left outside the office of the city mayor with a message directed to Black Councilor Clifford Evelyn.
