Red-ruffed Lemur Territorial Call

Sound up! 🔊

Primate Keeper Debbie captured this video of Mantabe the red-ruffed lemur's territorial call. In the wild, lemurs call to maintain contact with each other and let other lemurs know it's their territory.

At the Zoo, this call can make the white-and-black ruffed lemurs and the buff-cheeked gibbons start calling too! Listen for it the next time you're at the Zoo.
