Being able to stop on your bike is very important and you should have OEM or quality aftermarket parts on your bike. Cheap levers can cause your brake to lock up due to poor materials that mate up with the plunger on the master cylinder. Do yourself a favor and keep you stock levers or spend the money and get good aftermarket ones such as CRG.
