Serial Communication with CB2 Microcomputer

I look into how to connect the CB2 Microcomputer (based on an ATMega microcontroller) to the PC to be able to send programs both ways. I started with an adaptor to to able to connect the USB-to-serial cable to the CB2, but we got strange characters on screen instead.

I start investigating and looking at the signals produced by the CB2 and the serial adapter and it turns out I had a defective cable. I was able to get another one and that one worked great, but only went up to 2400 bps on the first communications port. So then I connect yet another serial adaptor to the second communication port directly on the ATMega to be able to go to 9600 bps, but I discover a few interesting things along the way.

Finally, we test the CALL funcionality on TinyBASIC to chain multiple program slots together to create a larger BASIC program.
