[Longplay, No Commentary] MechWarrior 4: Mercenaries (PC, 2002) 1080p Davion Play-through Part 1/2

Mercenaries is the second and standalone expansion pack for MechWarrior 4 released in 2002 for Windows. The player is now a mercenary company commander in a timeline parallel to the other MechWarrior 4 games, that is during the FedCom Civil War era. Players can either choose to play for House Davion or House Steiner. Part 1 of my play-through takes the perspective of a noble pro-Davion mercenary commander who also happens to win the Solaris Grand Championship.

I was hoping to get the vanilla version working instead of MekTek version but unfortunately it was not to be for unknown reason. Though, I do try to avoid the usage of weapons and mechs introduced in the MekTek version unless necessary. The expansion adds a new single player campaign where players can play through the missions according to the order they choose, and choices of missions can lead to different endings. Players can do slightly more in the free market. Solaris mode was also decent, almost got the feel of Trial of Position in MechWarrior 2. However, this is still MechWarrior 4, so it lacks the complexity found in MechWarrior 2: Mercenaries, which is a shame.
