Assessment as Learning | Learning Beyond Letter Grades
In this module, you have the chance to explore the concept of assessment as learning. Much of what is done on the world of assessment is considered assessment for learning and assessment of learning. However, in this module, we will look at a different perspective, one that allows us to think carefully about assessment can be a tool for helping students to grow and develop as reflective and self-directed learners. It will also challenge us to consider how we might further involve learners in the assessment process, turning assessment into something that we do alongside students, rather than something that we do to (or even for) students.
