I’m back with a new arrangement of MiSide! This is a different version of the "Main Theme," which the composer has titled "Update." It has a rather contradictory sound. I'm torn between whether it's in "C Major" or "A Minor." Perhaps that was the composer's intention, as the abrupt changes in figurations, rhythms, and moods create a sense of instability. I would describe it as cheerful, psychedelic music.

Now, let me share some nuances for performing this arrangement on the piano:

1) From the very beginning, use the right pedal to connect the bass and all the notes of the broken chord that create harmony.

2) At 0:20, we encounter a familiar melody; however, at 0:28, it becomes more complex with an additional melody above. As a result, much of the original melody shifts to the left hand. The right pedal is used throughout this measure while the bass continues.

3) At 0:37, we hear the familiar melody again, but in a slightly different variation. I suggest playing the first note of this melody with the left hand to avoid jumping an octave with the right hand. This might make it easier to perform, although this section is not particularly difficult.

4) At 0:53, we enter a section with a strong dynamic build-up that starts very softly using the left pedal and reaches a climax. The left hand plays the bass and lower melody (e-f-e-c) along with counter-melodies (a-a). In the right hand, each upper note (a-a-g-g) is prioritized in volume as the main melody. At the end, there’s an octave repetition of the lower melody that sounds even louder and brighter. I use the right pedal on every bass note.

5) At 1:21, the dynamics calm down a bit. A melody plays along with a counter-melody in the form of the note "g." At 1:36, independent melodies emerge in both hands; this is an unusual spot where no pedal is used.

6) At 1:51, I couldn't maintain the original molecular (fine) rhythm in the bass part; it was impossible to perform as written. So I adapted it to a more realistic part by creating a simple harmonic figure.

7) By 2:09, the previous section should come down to a diminuendo; thus, this part starts softly using the left pedal and is played staccato. However, by 2:17, everything is performed non-legato with slight use of the right pedal to connect octave repetitions of the melody.

8) At 2:37, this section concludes on a "ninth" interval. If you can comfortably play this interval at that tempo with your right hand, you may skip jumping with your left hand. Just understand that I can't ignore even this moment—ha-ha! After that, at 2:39, we enter the final section that starts loudly and then softens; the left hand helps finish off the recurring lower melody.
